The dreamy kraut-folk of the ‘The Homefront Pt II’ is released by Stolen Recordings (Pete and the Pirates, Bo Ningen, JEFF the Brotherhood) and eschews the more traditional, pop song structures of their debut album, gradually building as sounds and melodies weave in and out of an uninterrupted, motorik groove. The band decamped to an isolated barn in Cornwall to record the new material, which was mixed by Tape Op magazine founder Larry Crane (Elliott Smith, Stephen Malkmus, Quasi) at Jackpot! in Portland, OR. The artwork is by MSC guitarist Nick Goss, who is a painter and previously exhibited in ‘Newspeak’ at the Saatchi Gallery. The band will host an evening of live performances at the Saatchi Gallery later this summer, as part of an ongoing series of gigs in art spaces. Having previously played at the Josh Lilley Gallery, the band will play ‘Primitive Accumulation’ at the Fold Gallery in London Fields on May 30th, a show curated by Captains bassist Dan Davis that also features Goss. They will also perform at the opening of Richard T Walker’s show at Spike Island, Bristol in July. The song is now released digitally after initially only being available on ‘Stolen 6′, the very limited Stolen Recordings Record Store Day compilation.

Hey guys! As you all probbly know by now, Zac and Josh have decided to leave Paramore. Hey guys! Firstable, I know this video may be misinterpreted. I just wanted to show that Josh maybe orverstated the case a little bit and that they had good times all the same, that Hayley is not a selfish monster and Paramore was a band, is a band, will be a band. You have to know that I liked these two a lot but this post really pissed me off. ^^ And even if I know that all of this is true, that Hayley’s not a saint and that they had hard times to go through, I just can’t stand all these” Oh really?
