What was said and what comes next in on the ClevverTV right now. Welcome back to the show. I’m Joslyn Davis with latest on Paramore’s Last Word. We’ve been following this developing story for the past few weeks and today the MTV interview with the remaining group members- Taylor, Jeremy and Hayley — hit the web to an overwhelming fan response. The trio was clearly very proactive about getting their side of the story out there. In fact they did the MTV interview in Nashville in Hayley’s own basement. And in an interesting twist, this is actually the same location that they shot their last music video. Overall, they seemed sad and hurt by the Farro brother’s departure, but they reiterated over and over again that they just want Zac and Josh to be happy. They addressed all of the rumors out there, with particular emphasis on the whole story that they are a manufactured band, which they clearly said that they are not. Hayley does admit very openly that she was courted by various labels when she was very young, however she also adds that she wanted to be in Paramore and that’s what’s always been important to her. Paramore is an American rock band from Franklin, Tennessee, formed in 2004. Members are lead vocalist Hayley Williams, lead guitarist Josh Farro, bassist Jeremy Davis, drummer Zac Farro, and rhythm guitarist Taylor York. The group released their debut album All We Know Is Falling in 2005, and their second album, Riot! in 2007, which was certified Platinum in the US and Gold in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the UK. Brand New Eyes, Paramore’s third album, was released on September 29, 2009. Brand New Eyes is the band’s highest charting album to date.

Yet thats exactly what transpires with Steppin In Its “Simple Tunes for Troubled Times.” Sonically painting with a pleasant array of old time country swing and blues, this Lansing, Michigan, quartet brilliantly updates a resurging American musical genre. Populating this 11-track collection is an aging riverboat, the ghost of Richard Manuel, innocent love, dreams that are dashed, and the struggle of the common man. Its a world Woody Guthrie knew about, and sang about. Steppin In It conveys the wonder of the American spirit, but also its heartache. Led by composer/guitarist Joshua Davis, traditional roots music is celebrated here by plaintive vocals and sweet harmonies, plus musicianship that is positively staggering. The number of instruments manned by Davis, upright bassist Dominic John Suchyta, steel guitarist Joe Wilson and the harmonica-playing Andy Wilson includes trombone, trumpet, Cajun accordion, dobro, slide guitar, Cajun fiddle, clawhammer banjo. MTV.com will air a livestream event with the remaining band members Friday at 4pm Eastern, however we’ve already learned that Hayley will address the fact that many of the lyrics from Brand New Eyes are about Josh Farro. Hayley openly admits that “a large majority of those songs, yes, have to do with the relationship [she and Josh] had and then that [they] had to mend.” She adds that “it was really hard, because [they] were all friends, and then going through a breakup and going through any kind of tension as a band really affected all the lyrics.” Of course Hayley is referencing the known fact that she and Josh dated in the past. Hayley said that “there are a lot of specifics that [she] pulled from [her] experience with just feeling like [her] face was under a boot all the time.” To further clear things up, Hayley emphasizes that she didn’t write the lyrics to bring attention to her own situation; rather, she just wanted to offer encouragement other people going through similar situations. Hey guys, Joslyn Davis here in the studio with the latest 411 on Paramore. As die-hard fans likely already know, two of the group’s founding members, brothers Zac and Josh Farro, recently left the Paramore. Reactions across the board have been intense on both sides, with the remaining members, Hayley Williams, Jeremy Davis and Taylor York still planning to move forward with the band. IN an effort to move past all the rumors, gossip and speculation about Paramore’s future, the band sat down with MTV News in Tennessee where Hayley said that they “really wanted the opportunity to show [their] fans that [they're] ok.” She notes that “there’s been a lot of things said online, especially in the past week and it sucks…it sucks to read it, and it also suck to know that responding isn’t really going to help, online, because things travel so terribly on the internet.” Taylor York is stepping out to say that that after Paramore released the statement about Zac and Josh, they “all knew they would probably release something,” and that they “were all kind of bracing” themselves.
